Kevlar® Aramid Fiber
Para-aramid synthetic fiber with tensile strength five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis. Provides the cut resistance backbone across all CapraWear™ tiers. Maintains protection integrity through repeated wash cycles.
UHMWPE
Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. The same material used in body armor plates, reformulated as a woven textile for our Pro and Ballistic tiers. Lightweight, self-lubricating fiber with exceptional abrasion resistance and ballistic performance.
D3O® Smart Flex
Rate-dependent impact material that remains flexible during normal movement and locks rigid on impact. Positioned at shoulders, elbows, spine, and other high-contact zones. Absorbs and distributes force that hard armor would transmit.

CapraSkin™ Layering
Pro and Ballistic tier garments are cut specifically to layer under the CapraSkin™ tactical vest without bunching. Seam placement avoids pressure points under plate carriers. Flat-lock stitching eliminates bulk at overlay junctions.
Active Tier Sensors
The Active tier embeds textile-integrated sensors that monitor heart rate, skin temperature, and respiration via conductive fiber electrodes. Data transmits to CapraCore over BLE 5.3 at 1 Hz baseline, escalating to 10 Hz under exertion detection. No external wires or modules.
Standalone Operation
Every CapraWear tier functions as standalone protective clothing without any Capra system connection. Cut resistance, slash protection, and ballistic rating are passive material properties that work regardless of power or connectivity state.
